Membership Qualifications :

Males from the ages of 11 up to 17.

(Parents are welcome as well)

Completed Scout Application Form

Registration fee (see below) 

        

Meeting time and places :

Mondays 6:30-8:30 

November thru March:

at the Sacred Heart Church basement

(Just south of Walgreen’s on So. Main Street- on Manchester's  West side.)

April thru October:

Camp Carpenter (outdoors) off Bodwell Road, S.E.Manchester.

 

Patrol organization :

Each patrol is mixed in rank and age.

We do have a new scout patrol when needed. 

  

Troop meeting format :

Run by Senior Patrol Leader and Assistants.

More than one skill level instruction.

Meetings focus on Merit Badges as well as Rank Advancements.

Some areas are rank specific and others are for all scouts.

Demonstrations, Skill Challenges & Games are also worked into the meetings. 

 

Uniform :

Full Class “A” uniform at meetings and events.

Full Class “B” at most outdoor meetings.

Uniform recycling program. 

   

Dues / Membership fees :

New member fees: $25.00 with registration form.

50 cents per week (including out meetings)

$25.00 bi-yearly fees. 

 

Activities :

Troop 135 has a long tradition of active involvement in the district and council events, high adventure activities and monthly outdoor activities by the Scouts and the Adult Leaders. 

Activities include but not limited to the following:


Canoeing (especially white water)

Bike trips (trail and road trips)

Ski / Snowboard weekends

Norwich University Jamboree

Camp Fatima - Catholic Scout Retreat

Klondike Derbies

Cub Scout Service Support

Chuckwagon Derby

Winter Carnival

Winter Camping

Hidden Valley or Camp Bell Summer Camp

Yearly summer high adventure trip

District Camporees

New Hampshire Jamborees

Visiting National Jamboree

Troop Junior Leader Trainings


And anything else the scouts would like in the program.

September 8th First Scout Meeting

On September 8th we will be having our first Scout Meeting for the year.

Come one came all for the celebration of a New Scout Year.

We will be providing supper for the Scouts, Parents and Friends.
