Dear Troop,

Following last Wednesday's committee meeting, it appears that the scheduled date for the Jay Peak ski trip will slip out into March. It will be Mar 19-21.

We want to encourage all Scouts, All Parents (Mom and Dad) and all Registered Leaders to have their own unique log-in to the Troop Website. This way we can better inform all members when information needs to be distributed.

During the Mountain-man adventure we gave a short demonstration on geocaching and found a few caches on top of North Uncanoonuc. We also had our first DNF (Did Not Find), but we will find it next time.

The Friends of the Goffstown Rail Trail are pleased to announce the completion of another community beautification project along the Goffstown Rail Trail. 17-year old Goffstown resident and Goffstown High School senior Tanner Kantargis, who is a member of ManchesterBoy Scout Troop 135 , initiated an Eagle Scout project to beautify a section of the trail in front of the Goffstown Parks and Recreation Center, 155 Mast Road.

The centennial edition of the Boy Scout Handbook will soon be available, and with the new handbook come several rank requirement changes that will be in effect as of January 1, 2010.
